QuestKit ("QuestKit," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Who This Applies To

QuestKit is used by parents and guardians on behalf of their children. All accounts are created and controlled by the parent using their own Google account — children do not create their own accounts or sign in directly.

2. Information We Collect

• Account information: your name and email address, via Google Sign-In.
• Child-related information you provide: your child's first name or nickname (optional), age, and interests you type in to personalize adventures. This is provided by you, the parent — not collected directly from your child.
• Usage information: pages viewed, buttons clicked, and features used, collected via PostHog analytics, to help us understand and improve the product.
• Payment information: payment is processed entirely by Razorpay. QuestKit never receives or stores your card, UPI, or bank details — only confirmation that a payment succeeded.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To create and personalize adventure cards based on the age and interests you provide.
• To manage your account, free-adventure limits, and premium access.
• To improve QuestKit based on how the product is used.
• To communicate with you about your account or purchases.

We do not use your child's information for targeted advertising, behavioral profiling, or any purpose unrelated to generating their adventures.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

• Supabase (database and authentication hosting)
• Google (sign-in authentication)
• Razorpay (payment processing)
• OpenRouter (AI text generation) — only when you type a custom interest instead of choosing a preset theme
• PostHog (product analytics)

These providers process data only to provide their service to QuestKit and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain account and adventure data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion at any time (Section 8).

6. Your Rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us. We will respond within 7 days.

7. Children's Privacy

QuestKit is designed for use by parents and guardians on behalf of children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children, and children do not independently create accounts, provide consent, or interact with QuestKit outside of the adventures their parent generates for them.
